Alex has over 10 years experience spanning both local government and the private sector and has developed a strong foundation in town planning. A significant portion of his career was spent as a Supervisor in the Planning Assessment Department at the City of Gold Coast Council, where he played a pivotal role in facilitating a diverse range of development outcomes. This experience has provided him with a deep understanding of local government operations and the strategies necessary for achieving positive, collaborative outcomes.

Alex’s expertise encompasses both statutory and strategic planning, with extensive experience in development assessment, planning scheme and policy review. He has also overseen large-scale, complex development projects, including multi-staged, suburban-sized greenfield developments across Northern New South Wales, where he managed the intricate post-approval planning processes. While Alex’s passion lies in large-scale master planning, his key areas of expertise and extended interests include preparing and managing development applications and strategic land use planning in both urban and rural contexts. His comprehensive experience across all facets of the profession allows him to offer valuable insights and contributions to every project.
