Geoff has over 26 years of town planning and urban development experience on the Gold Coast, working in both the public and private sectors. His experience is associated with numerous strategic plans, development plans and master plans throughout South East Queensland, as well as the preparation and assessment of statutory planning applications from both a public and private sector position.
Geoff has been integral in a range of strategic planning initiatives including the Griffith University Knowledge Precinct concept, Gold Coast Marine Precinct concept, Yatala Enterprise Local Area Plan, Surfers Paradise Local Area Plan, Gold Coast Light Rail Density and Diversity Study, master planning and development applications for Calypso Bay and SkyRidge (formerly Pacific View Estate), and master planning for the Corporate Centre, Bundall.
As a long-term resident and local professional planner, Geoff has a strong understanding of the Gold Coast community and has cultivated a strong network of connections and professional working relationships with State and Local Government Officers.
