Hoagy is a qualified Town Planner who, before joining UPS, spent 8 years at the City of Gold Coast working across a variety of teams, providing him with a diverse skill set and sound knowledge base.
During his time with the City of Gold Coast, Hoagy managed some of the city’s major projects including mixed-use, multi-tower high-rise developments; significant mixed-use commercial developments; large subdivisions and townhouse developments; the Gold Coast International Marine Precinct, and Queen Street Village (the former Gold Coast Hospital site).
Hoagy also helped create some of Council’s more progressive policy, primarily relating to the city’s most intense areas.
Since leaving Council, Hoagy’s professional portfolio includes complex mixed-use developments in the central and southern regions of the Gold Coast, as well as boutique high-rise developments. Hoagy consistently combines his experience, technical ability, lateral thinking and positive attitude to resolve complex issues and overcome hurdles.
